Mitcho holds a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Art and Media Technology from the Inter-Arts Center at San Francisco State University. For many years Mitcho was the director of programs for homeless youth in San Francisco. As an herbalist, he was schooled in California at CSHS, and participated in the Clinical Medical Herbalist Course there. He also studied Ayruvedic Medicine. Mitcho teaches on many aspects of Herbal Medicine and is the Community Liaison for the Peace in Medicine Education Center and Healing Studio in Sebastopol, CA. Mitcho recently illustrated the amazing book on growing medicinal herbs "Life in the Medicine".
